Pelican Hill Golf Club - Ocean South
Los Angeles, California
Overlooking the Pacific from Newport Coast, Pelican Hill's Ocean South Course delivers one of the most spectacular resort golf experiences in California. Tom Fazio sculpted 18 holes with sweeping ocean panoramas and immaculate conditioning.
History & Heritage
The Ocean South opened in 1991 as the first of two Tom Fazio designs at Pelican Hill in Newport Coast. Perched 300 feet above the Pacific with 270-degree views, it became one of Fazio's most celebrated coastal works. The Ocean North followed in 1993. The Resort at Pelican Hill opened in 2008.
The course is undergoing a restoration to refresh Fazio's original design while maintaining the coastal character.
