History & Heritage
Concession Golf Club takes its name from Jack Nicklaus's famous concession of a short putt to Tony Jacklin at the 1969 Ryder Cup at Royal Birkdale. Nicklaus designed the course in Bradenton, Florida, and it opened in 2006 on rolling terrain unusual for Southwest Florida.
In 2021, Concession hosted the WGC-Workday Championship, won by Collin Morikawa. The course will also host the 2026 Senior PGA Championship.

A par 3 over water to a green defended by bold bunkering.
A demanding finishing hole requiring two strong shots.
What to Expect

Playing Tips
Elevation changes affect club selection significantly. Nicklaus's deep bunkers are the primary defense -- play away from them when possible.
