Trinity, Texas

History & Heritage
Whispering Pines Golf Club was the vision of Corby Robertson, who commissioned Chet Williams of the Nicklaus Design Group to build the best course in Texas on a 450-acre property along Lake Livingston in Trinity, Texas. The course opened in March 2000 and was ranked number one in Texas by Golf Digest for twelve consecutive years. In 2018 Williams oversaw an extensive reconstruction.

A par 3 to a green framed by pines and water, one of the most photographed holes in Texas.
A strategic par 5 through towering pines with water threatening on the second and third shots.
A demanding finisher requiring two strong shots through a pine corridor.
What to Expect
An exclusive championship course in the serene piney woods of East Texas with zoysia fairways and Champion Bermuda greens. Also features The Needler, a celebrated 9-hole par-3 course.
Playing Tips
Accuracy off the tee is paramount. Pine-lined fairways punish errant drives. On holes 14 and 15 along the water, assess wind carefully before committing.
